Atlantic-CAM  wrestlers prepare for big Council Bluffs Wrestling Classic

Chase McLaren is feeling pretty good about how well the 2018-2019 wrestling season has gone for him so far.

The 138-pound senior for Atlantic-CAM, ranked third in The Predicament’s latest Iowa Class 2A rankings and fourth by IA Wrestle, noted how well his outside single-leg takedown is working for him and is more confident and better at hand-fighting.

He also has a fourth-place showing at the pre-season nationals under his belt.

“I feel like my snapdown has been my bread-and-butter (move),” he said, noting how it brought him to a 6-0 record so far this season, including a championship at the Joe Finch Invitational in Humboldt.
