INDIANOLA – Atlantic native Brendan Holmes once again is among the cream of the crop in American Rivers Conference football.

A senior defensive back at Simpson College, Holmes made his third-straight appearance on the first team.

Holmes quarterbacked the Storm defense, recording 73 tackles and a quarterback sack in eight ARC games. He also had four pass breakups and two interceptions, and forced opponents to fumble three times during the season.

Holmes, a four-year starter for the Storm, leaves the program as the all-time leading tackler with 358.

Holmes wraps up an impressive college career. He graduates from the program as the Storm’s all-time leading tackler with 358. His freshman through junior seasons saw him record 98, 89 and 89 tackles.
