CASS COUNTY — Two additional COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Cass County, according to the COVID-19 in Iowa website, bringing the total for the county to 10 as of noon on Sunday.
At that time the county had 3,951 individuals tested for COVID-19, with 581 testing positive, or 14.7 percent positive. The percentage of positive cases over a 14 day average was 19.6 percent down slightly since Friday.
Audubon has a total of 1,584 individuals tested with 228 testing positive, or 14.4 percent; the 14 day average is at 20.5 percent. There is one death related to COVID-19 reported.
Statewide there are 92 care facilities with outbreaks, with 2,839 testing positive and 886 deaths.
In Audubon County there is one long term care facility reporting an outbreak. The Exira Care Center has 20 cases, with one reported recovered.
In Cass County there are three long term care facilities with outbreaks. Atlantic Specialty Care has 75 reported cases, with 20 recovered; Heritage House has 14 reported cases with five recovered. Griswold Rehabilitation and Health Care Center has 55 reported cases with nine recovered.
