Several programs will be held this week at the Atlantic Library.

On July 9, Miss Lora Space Adventures will be held for second through fifth grade students from 2 to 3 p.m. Those who attend will learn about space, NASA, stars and constellations.

On July 10, there will be shark party for second through fourth grade students from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

On July 11, at 2 p.m., there will be a free magic show, presented by Mike Prestby Magic, for all ages. The program includes magic, comedy and puppets, and it is sponsored by the Atlantic Rotary Club. The show is entitled “Take Me To Your Readers!”

On July 12, there will be a showing of an interactive movie, “Jaws,” for fifth through eight grade students from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. The movie is rated PG, and those who want to attend need to sign up by contact officials at the library at 243-5466 or www.atlantic.lib.ia.us. Students may also bring a drink a closeable container.
