The Cass County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board met on Jan. 15 at noon.

Brett Altman gave a prayer and we were served a delicious lunch by the Human Resources Department.

President Marcia Weis called the meeting to order at 12:45 p.m. with 28 members, Brett Altman, Carole Schuler and Britney Weirich present.

Secretary Elaine Martens read the minutes of the Nov. 20, 2018, Board Meeting. The minutes were approved as read. Treasurer Cheryl Wessels gave the Treasurer Report and Lucy Newton gave the Snack, Beverage and Gift Shop Report. Both reports will be placed on file for future audit.

Brett Altman gave a CCHS Update as his Administrative Report.

A motion was made by Barb Wollenhaupt to purchase 25 Overbed Tables for the Hospital. The motion was seconded and passed. This motion will be brought in front of the membership at the Annual Meeting for final approval.

President Weis thanked Brett, Carole and the HR Department for the delicious meal. Ramona Camp reported the Auxiliary Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at noon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Sign-up sheets are in the Gift Shop and at the Information Desk.

Julia McNees reported the Christmas Sale held in the Gift Shop on November 27 was very well attended and thanked all the volunteers that helped.

Marlys Berry reported they served 143 employees at the Employee Appreciation Tea on Dec. 11. Four gift certificates were awarded as door prizes from the Treasure Cove Gift Shop. Everything went well and thanked everyone that helped.

Lucy Newton reported the White Elephant and Bake Sale was held in the Atrium on Dec. 19 and thanked all that donated and volunteered on the day ofthe sale to make it successful.

President Weis said an organizer for the June Auxiliary General Meeting at the United Church of Christ was needed. Lucy Newton volunteered to chair that meeting.
