The Griswold High School Student Council is once again sponsoring its 13th annual Dodge ball tournament in the Griswold high school gym on Friday, March 13, starting at 6:30 p.m., the doors open at 6 p.m. The proceeds from the tournament will go towards the Student Council activity fund. Spectators can get in for $3, with kids under 5 being free.
Each team must have eight players, two of the opposite gender. The teams must be high school age or older to play, and yes adults are very welcome to participate. The entry fee will be $40 per team, and the winning team will receive a dodgeball medal on a lanyard for each member. Entries are due by noon on Friday March 13, and payment is needed before tournament begins. Entry forms can be found on the Griswold School’s home web page or in the high school office.
Members are also looking for local businesses to sponsor the tournament with merchandise for door prizes. For more information, contact Pat Carlson at 778-2154 during school hours.
