The 24th annual Festival of Trees in Adair is coming up on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1-8 p.m. at the Adair Fire Station. Many beautiful Victorian, colorful and fun trees, nativity scenes, Christmas villages, wreaths, collections and centerpieces will be on display. Festive snacks and drinks will be provided. Free will donations accepted, with proceeds going to senior scholarships and community projects. The festival is co-sponsored by the Adair Women’s Club and Adair Public Library, with funds supported by Thrivent. You can also attend the Memorial Tree lighting service at 4:30 p.m. sponsored by the Adair Sesquicentennial committee. A Lion’s Club Soup Supper is also planned at the fire station starting at 5 p.m. Santa will be at the fire station from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Celebrate the season by visiting the Presbyterian Church decorated with many nativity scenes from 1-8 p.m.
