Nov. 20 — Randi Lynn Hess, 19, of Harlan, was arrested following a call for service. Hess was transported to the Shelby County Jail where she was charged with assault.
Nov. 23 — Roxanne Mare Poorker, 54, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop. Poorker was transported to the Shelby County Jail where she was charged with operating while intoxicated, violations of a restricted license, and failure to use headlamps when required.
Nov 21 — Jacqueline Larsen, of Avoca, driving a 2016 Lexus R3, traveling south on Highway 59. Tyler Thompson, of Harlan, driving a 2016 Ford Focus, was traveling west on Highway 44. Thompson was almost through the intersection when Larsen proceeded through the stop sign striking Thompson’s vehicle on the passenger side.
Nov. 23 — Allan Watts, of Harlan, driving a 1998 Buick Lesabre and David Benak, of Council Bluffs, driving a 2019 Chevy Silverado, were traveling west on Highway 44. Benak made an improper turn from the inside-most lane, striking Watts’s vehicle located in the outer-most lane. Both vehicles were moved from the initial impact location, into the Casey’s parking lot before officers arrived.
