The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Paul Joens, 26, of Exira, on Dec. 11 at approximately 12 a.m. for possession – marijuana second offense and possession drug paraphernalia. The charge stems from an incident occurring in the 2600 block of Heron Ave. He was transported to and held in the Audubon County Jail until the following morning when he appeared before the Magistrate and was released.
Christopher Lee Hilleshiem, 45, of Exira, was charged with disclosing confidential information on Dec. 15 at approximately 9 a.m. The charge stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred in November. He appeared before the Magistrate and was released.
Levi John Klenda, 18, of Kimballton was charged with theft fourth and accessory after the fact on Dec. 16 at approximately 9 a.m. He appeared before the magistrate and was released. Carrie Waller, 43, of Exira, was charged with obstructing prosecution or defense and theft fourth on Dec. 15 and was summoned to appear before the Magistrate on Jan. 9 and was released. A male juvenile was charged with burglary third motor vehicle and theft fourth. The charges all stem from an investigation into a theft of a firearm from a vehicle in Exira. The theft occurred in July of 2019.
Jarold Field Joens, 56, of Exira was charged with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana first offense on Dec. 23. The charge stems from a search warrant of his property in connection with an incident that occurred earlier in December. He was summoned to appear before the Magistrate later that week and was released. During that search warrant, Robert Paul Joens, 26, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance – marijuana second offense, and possession of controlled substance – meth second offense. Robert was transported to the Audubon County Jail and held until he posted a $3,600 bond.
