Adair County - A Nebraska man was held at the Adair County Jail last week after Iowa State Patrol troopers found him driving all over the lanes on the interstate, without a valid driver’s license and with a partial bottle of brandy.

According to an Adair County Sheriff’s report, law enforcement officials received numerous phone calls about a vehicle all over the road on Interstate 80 on March 7, with one report identifying the vehicle as a Saturn Vue.

It was found stopped near the 82 mile marker, and troopers made contact with the driver, Way Mu Htoo, 21 of Omaha, Neb., did not have a valid driver’s license, but did have a partial bottle of brady in his possession. Troopers could noticed a strong odor of alcohol from him as well.

Htoo was transported to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Operating While Intoxicated. He was held on $1,000 cash or surety.
