AHSTW’s Holtz signs with Iowa Western Community College

Morgan Holtz, a senior at AHSTW, committed last week to play soccer for Iowa Western Community College and continue her education through the school’s vet tech program. She started 28 games her first two seasons, playing primarily defense, and is expected to be a full-time starter her senior year for the Lady Vikes. She recorded three assists and a goal from eight shots in action on the offensive side during her sophomore year. Her coaches and parents noted that she likely would have seen an expanded role her junior year, which was cancelled due to COVID-19.
