T-Bone trail

AUDUBON - The T-Bone Trail is expanding and there will be a ribbon cutting this weekend to celebrate.

The trail extension ribbon cutting is at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, June 2, and is sponsored by NextEra Energy.

A T-Bone Trail ride will start at 9 a.m.

People who attend can ride the trail as far as they would like, and are encouraged to come back to the park and enjoy Art in the Park and Food Truck Battle at the Square afterwards.

In addition, the Cass County Conservation Board will be holding a National Trails Day T-Bone Trail Ride! Riders can meet at the I-80/T-Bone Trail Trailhead, north of Atlantic, on the west side of Highway 71, on Saturday, June 1 at 1 p.m.

This event is free to the public! Bikes, walkers, strollers, you name it, everyone is welcome.

Art In The Park, sponsored by Audubon County Tourism, will run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Audubon City Park.

The Food Truck Battle at the Audubon Square will also run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Audubon City Park.

A food truck winner will be chosen by public vote.
