Midwest Partnership’s annual entrepreneur and small business event, EntreBASH, will be held at the Agri Hall on the Audubon County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, March 27from 5:30-8 p.m.
Stacie Euken with Midwest Partnership stated, “EntreBASH is a free-to-attend event which provides networking and learning opportunities to area entrepreneurs – those in business already, or just with an idea looking for assistance to get started – offering guidance and assistance all in one place. This will be the fourth year Midwest Partnership has hosted such an event in its four county region, in partnership with UNI’s Business & Community Services.”
The evening consists of:
· Resource Fair – Organizations promoting their programs or services that benefit business/entrepreneurship. NEW this year, businesses can attend to promote their services for a table/booth fee of $25. See below for more info!
· Learning Labs – round table discussions with experts to answer questions on relevant topics (e.g. marketing, talent recruitment, e-commerce, insurance, etc.)
· Keynote speaker presentation, showcasing success stories, meant to inspire. This year’s keynote will be a Local Business Panel.
· One-on-one business consulting
Euken said, “At last year’s EntreBASH, keynote speaker Chad Gleason of Moglea expressed a lesson he’s learned over the years. Gleason said, ‘It’s well worth it to hire someone that is specialized instead of wasting your own valuable time and energy stumbling through something an expert could handle in half the time and with far better quality!’ With that in mind, we would like to invite area service providers – graphic designers, bookkeepers, financial/legal/insurance service providers, real estate agents, etc. – that entrepreneurs and small business owners need (or don’t know they need!) to start or expand their business to attend this year’s EntreBASH and participate in the Resource Fair. This is a great opportunity to connect attendees with local service providers so can take immediate action, as well as connect local service providers with potential new customers.”
