Officials with the LC Clinic announced they had purchased a building at 507 Chestnut Street in Atlantic. LC Clinic is planning to renovate the building to open as its third office soon. LC Clinic is a pregnancy medical clinic specializing in early pregnancy confirmation. LC Clinic is a 501©(3) non-profit organization, privately funded through churches, individuals, and businesses.

LC Clinic opened its doors in Stuart in March of 2012 and its second office in Creston in July of 2015, to meet the needs of men and women in our communities who are facing unplanned pregnancy. The third clinic is aimed at providing the same services to the public, including the underserved counties of Cass, Audubon, Shelby, and East Pottawattamie Counties. A Steering Committee was formed in September 2019 and is currently raising funds and creating community awareness for the future Atlantic office through community and fundraising events. All services are provided with excellent non-judgmental care, free of charge and strictly confidential. Services provided include medical services (pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasound, STI testing and treatment), education (pregnancy and fetal development, pregnancy options, parenting, reproductive health, abstinence, healthy relationships and more), and support services (material assistance, community referrals, peer counseling, Moms’ Club, Men’s Ministry & fatherhood support, and more). Shady Executive Director of LC Clinic 1109 S Sumner Street, Creston.
