The Audubon Police Department posted a request to the public on their Facebook page earlier this month, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Chief Matt Starmer said, “The Audubon Police Department remains committed to answering any and all calls for service at this time. I am asking that residents please call 563-2500 if there is an issue and we will attempt to resolve it by phone. If the situation does not allow it, then we will handle as normal. Please avoid coming to the police department building unless it’s necessary. I appreciate your understanding in this situation as our entire nation adjusts to the new issues at hand. As always, if you have an emergency please dial 911. Everyone stay safe and let’s work together to get through this transition period.”
