Justin Andrew Dickinson, 22, of Harlan, was arrested Aug. 21. He was taken into custody on active Shelby County warrants, including probation revocation and was booked into the Shelby County Jail.
No injuries were reported following an accident at the intersection of 19th and Chatburn in Harlan on Aug. 22. Donna Elmquist, of Kimballton, was driving a 2011 Ford F-150 pickup, and slowed to turn into a grocery store parking near 19th and Chatburn, when her vehicle was struck from behind. The second vehicle, a 2018 Chevy Equinox, was driven by Vivian Storjohann, of Blair, Neb. The pickup sustained minor damage, while the SUV sustained heavy front-end damage.
On Aug. 16, Rachael Stanley, 18, of Atlantic on a Cass County warrant for failure to appear. Stanley was taken into custody, transported to the Cass County Jail, and booked in.
On Aug. 26, Amy Dole, 42, of Atlantic was arrested on a Cass County warrant for failure to appear. Dole was taken into custody, transported to the Cass County and booked in.
On Aug. 16, Atlantic Police cited and released Lyle Filkins, 84, of Atlantic, for harassment, third degree.
On Aug, 20, Jordan Frazier, 18, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-injury, criminal mischief, fourth degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. Frazier was taken into custody, transported to the Cass County Jail and booked in.
On Aug. 25, Serphyl Phylon, 36, of Atlantic was arrested public intoxication, criminal mischief, fourth degree, burglary, third degree. Phylon was taken into custody, transported to the Cass County Jail and booked in.
On Aug. 23 Tyler Osborn, 23 was taken into custody, transported to the Cass County Jail and booked in on charges of public intoxication.
On Aug. 25 Trevor Harris, 39, was taken into custody, on a Shelby County warrant for violation of probation. transported to the Cass County Jail and booked in.
On Aug. 18, deputies at the Adair County Sheriff’s office arrested Daman Matthew Wells, 33, of Creston for OWI, second offense. He was cited and released.
On Aug. 18, Stuart Police arrested David Spencer Reeves, 33, of Waverly on charges of criminal mischief, fifth degree and harassment, first degree. Reeves was held on $2,000 cash or surety.
On Aug. 21, Iowa State Patrol Troopers arrested Melissa Anne Sapp, 31, of Grimes on arrest warrants and theft in the fifth degree. Sapp was released on her own recognizance on the Adair County theft charge and turned over to Polk County on the two arrest warrants.
