Proposed plans for work on IKM-Manning building

MANNING - A bond vote that went to the polls yesterday for patrons of the IKM-Manning School District failed 1,049 to 859 according to unofficial results. The vote needed a 60 percent plus approval to go through and the vote was about 55 percent to 45 percent - not enough to pass.

The $19.2 million bond referendum would have paid for an addition and upgrade, to create a K-12 center in Manning.
