Arrests August

Matthew Gilmore, 25, of Council Bluffs, was arrested on Aug. 4, for operating while intoxicated first. He was later seen by the Magistrate and was released.

David Gilbert, 38 of Audubon, was arrested on Aug. 18, on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation. He was held on the charge and later posted bond.

Joseph Jensen, 36 of Exira, was arrested on Aug. 21, for an outstanding county jail mittimus. He was also charged for possession of drug paraphernalia during his arrest. He served his mittimus and was released.

Keenan Nelson, 32 of Exira, was arrested on Aug. 24, for domestic abuse assault- first. He was summoned to appear and was released on his own recognizance.

Arrests September

Joseph Jensen, 36 of Exira, was arrested on Sept. 6, for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. He was released on his own recognizance.

Mitchell Killion, 38, of Orient, was arrested on Sept. 14, for operating while intoxicated — first. He was seen by the magistrate and was later released.

Peyton Busse, 22, of Guthrie Center, was arrested on Sept. 18, for operating while intoxicated — first. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Dennis Petersen, 58 of Exira, was arrested on Sept. 24, on violation of a no-contact order and violation of probation. He was sentenced on the violation of probation and was released several days later.

Tammy Henriksen, 58 of Audubon, was arrested on Sept. 28, for aiding and abetting the violation of a no-contact order. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Arrests October:

Sylas Stangeland, 22, of Harlan, was arrested on Oct. 1, on an outstanding warrant for burglary third, theft second and possession of burglary tools. The charges stem from a burglary investigation in Audubon County.

Scott Black, 57 of Hamlin, was arrested on Oct. 2, for driving while barred. He posted cash bond and was released.

Tyler Carter, 29, of Exira, was arrested on Oct. 4, for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was seen by the magistrate and released on his own recognizance.

Scott Belew, 29, of Audubon, was arrested on Oct. 5, 2020 for trespass first and theft fifth. He was summoned to appear before the magistrate and was released.
