AUDUBON – The races are on for the 2020 season at the Audubon County Fairground.

Five dates for the season’s Figure 8 races have been announced by the fair board.

Dates are all Fridays throughout the season: June 26, July 10, July 17, July 31 and Aug. 7. Pits open at 4:30 p.m., with the flag dropping at 7:30 p.m.

The final date – the Aug. 7 one – is the T-Bone Special, with a rain date of Saturday, Aug. 8.

Cost is $10 for adults or free for 5 and under.

Pit pass is $25 and racers pay $35 which includes the pit pass. Fans must be 12 or older to watch from the pits, with no exceptions. No alcohol will be allowed in the pits.

With Gov. Kim Reynolds’ announcement this week, grandstand capacity will be 100 percent. Concessions will be available.
