, (AP) -- Delkis Basanta tripled and doubled twice, driving in five runs and scoring four as the DSL Nationals beat the DSL Orioles2 18-4 on Thursday.

Yoander Rivero singled twice with two RBIs for DSL Nationals.

DSL Nationals had a pair of big innings in the blowout victory, scoring seven runs in the first inning and four in the eighth.

In the first, Basanta hit a two-run triple, while Christopher De La Cruz hit an RBI single, driving in Isan Castillo in the eighth.

DSL Nationals right-hander Johan Otanez (1-3) picked up the win after allowing one run on three hits over five innings. Opposing starter Oscar Pierret (1-1) took the loss in the Dominican Summer League game after giving up seven runs and five hits while only recording two outs.

DSL Nationals took advantage of some erratic DSL Orioles2 pitching, drawing a season-high nine walks in its victory.

Despite the loss, DSL Orioles2 is 3-1 against DSL Nationals this season.
