Derek Hall resigns as coach at Atlantic

Derek Hall, who had served as the head coach for the past two seasons, submitted his resignation as head coach, and also as middle school sixth-grade science teacher and the school’s strength and conditioning coach. The resignations are effective the end of the current school year.

Hall has also served as assistant girls’ track coach.

Hall succeeded Jeff Ebling as head boys’ basketball coach after serving as an assistant in Ebling’s program. In his two seasons, Hall went 15-29, including a 7-15 season this past winter.

He also had served as freshman football coach and assistant cross country coach.
