The 33rd annual Western Iowa Mutual Insurance Golf Benefit took place Monday, June 28, at Nishna Hills Golf Course, Atlantic. The four-person best-ball tournament consisted of 34 teams representing their local fire departments, where the $300 entry fee is donated back to the fire department of their choice. The teams competed for team flight prizes, hole prizes and $300 first-place prizes, which is also donated to their local fire departments. This year’s winner was the Matthew Paul team, representing the Henderson Fire Department, shooting a 16-under score of 53.
